Born in the Washburn USA Custom Shop in 1994, Woody isn’t just another guitar off a factory line. He came from a small team of builders who still cared about grain, balance, and tone more than marketing. This is his build sheet, the choices that let him sing.
♪ I wasn’t built for showrooms or spotlights. I was built to make music, plain and simple.

My makers didn’t cover me in paint. They gave me a warm stain and let the wood do the talking.
- Pickups: Seymour Duncan ’59 (neck), likely JB (bridge)
- Switching: 5‑way blade selector, factory original
- Controls: Single master volume, single master tone. Both OEM Washburn components

People say Padauk a few different ways. Doesn’t matter to me. I answer to Woody.
